St. Andrew the Apostle is delighted to welcome your child to our parish family through the Sacrament of Baptism!
Baptisms are held on the 1st & 3rd Sundays each month (with some exceptions during the year) at 2:00 p.m. in the Holy Family Chapel. We are currently limiting the number of baptisms to two families per Sunday, to allow for adequate social distancing in the Holy Family Chapel. Please call the Parish Office at (703) 817-1770 to make arrangements.
Baptism Classes are held on the third Friday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Padre Pio Room at the parish. This class is REQUIRED for parents who have not previously attended a baptism preparation class. . Please register for the class by email to parish.office@st-andrew.org or by calling the Parish Office at 703-817-1770.
The next Baptism preparation class will be held on Friday, May 21.
Please complete and submit the Baptismal Information Form provided below to the Parish Office. This completed form along with Sponsor Eligibility Letters for your intended godparent(s) must be received by the Parish Office at least one week prior to the requested date of Baptism. A date for the Baptism will not be confirmed until ALL paperwork is received.
Adult Baptism - Adults who wish to be baptized are prepared through our RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) Program which begins each September.

Registered parishioners who have been asked to serve as a Baptism Sponsor (Godparent) or Confirmation Sponsor should contact the Parish Office (703-817-1770 or parish.office@st-andrew.org and make an appointment to complete a sponsor eligibility letter in the presence of one of the parish priests. The person chosen to be a sponsor must show up in person at the Parish Office to attest to the requirements below.
