Dress Code - Special clothes highlight a special occasion. However, you are reminded to stress the coming of Jesus as the most important part of the day. Keeping this in mind, any modest dress clothes are appropriate. Most girls in our parish wear the traditional white dress and a veil for the head. Shoulders are to be covered, either with sleeves or a sweater/bolero jacket. The head MUST be covered in some form in imitation of a bride of Christ. Please DO NOT let the students wear nail polish, tennis shoes or sneakers, and girls are not to wear pants or slacks. If your daughter has a purse or gloves, we ask that you keep these items with you during the First Holy Communion Mass so that they are not lost. The boys have chosen a variety of dress including suits, tuxes, blazers or dress sweaters, and dress slacks. Ties MUST be worn and tennis shoes or sneakers are not permitted.
